This full color 16 page booklet will assist you with the initial steps of becoming a US Missionary, whether your desire is to become a Chaplain, Church Planter, Chi Alpha Campus Missionary, Intercultural Minister, U.S. Maps Associate, or work with Teen Challenge. Here are the initial steps you will need to take to apply:

• Contact the appropriate department within the US Missions office
• Meet with your District Assistant Superintendent to discuss your calling to US Missions
• Complete and submit the missionary application packet
• Obtain ordination, if required, for national appointment as a US Missionary
• Prescreening by the US Missions Committee in Springfield
• Attend candidate orientation week for a final review and training
• Become commissioned as a nationally appointed US missionary
• Receive official approval from the US missions committee
• Focus full-time on itineration
